DESCRIPTION

 

X240 is a medium-molecular-weight acrylic copolymer with epoxy groups. X240 is designed to use in product with a requirement of high gloss surfaces, where it functions as an appearance modifier to render masterbatch's surfaces high gloss, an anti fiber precipitation modifier and a performance modifier to enhance heat welding and ultrasonic welding strengths and improve processing fluidity.

 

FEATURES

 

With 2% addition amount, X240 significantly enhances product surfaces' gloss, especially suitable for products made of ABS and PC/ABS alloy with a requirement of high gloss surfaces.

Enhance mechanical strength of welding creases; Help to smooth out and remove welding creases.

Modified material with 2% of X240 is well prepared for surface treatments such as electroplating and spray coating and can easily pass cross-cut test.

Improve masterbatch's processing fluidity with an enhancement effect identical to CBT resin.

For the case of glass fiber strengthened modifications of PA66, PA66, PBT, PET and PC, 2% to 4% X240 effectively restrains precipitation of glass fiber in masterbatch, and significantly enhances final product's surface smoothness and gloss.
